Thanks to the incredible support of our members and friends, FNL is able to preserve two more historic buildings this year. In addition to the 1930 African-American Methodist Church, FNL now owns our long-time museum office, which is a c. 1850 Methodist Church. We will be working to begin restoration work on the 1930 church. Meanwhile, the 1850 church will receive some maintenance and will be the site of a beautiful monument commemorating the history of New London and the contributions of the Teass Family beginning in the 1750s. More on the monument soon, but see the News & Advance for more coverage of the church acquisition. News & Advance
